Tel Aviv: City Hotels and Accommodation
Many popular hotels lie in the centre of Tel Aviv, a major tourist hotspot just 15 km / 9 miles north-west of Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV). Accommodation in this area varies greatly, with numerous mid-range hotels targeting the lucrative business market and offering basic, reasonably priced rooms. For the cheapest lodging in the city, look to far side of Allenby Street, and also consider Ben Yehuda Street and the Yemenite Quarter.
Further accommodation in the region can be found around the historic Old Town of Jaffa, and also close to Tel Aviv University, which is located next to the Ramat Aviv district and home to almost 30,000 students.
